Chapter 013 - Xros Memories!! The Boys’ Old Days

Wizarmon realises that they are not actually in the past. Shoutmon realises that when Taiki came to the Digital World it was from the human future to Digital World past. Taiki realises that it wasn’t the Xros Loader power that did that but the voice of light that he heard.Taiki realises that today is a day he needed to do something and asks Akari to show the others around and he will meet them later. Dorulumon is worried when Taiki isn’t straight forward is when he has to deal with Kiriha and that Taiki refuses to cknowledge Kiriha. Akari knows what is going on and tells them to follow her.

Taiki (and his past self) are hiding out as Past Taiki is looking at a boy called Tatsuya in a wheelchair. Now! Taiki is thinking that Past Taiki should go apologise. From the stands the rest of Xros Heart are told by Akari that Taiki and Tatsuya were chosen for a track meet and that Tatsuya got injured and can’t walk anymore. This was the day that Taiki was going to meet Tatsuya to apologise but he was too afraid to meet him.

Dorulumon asks what it has to do with disliking Kiriha when two more humans arrive and not far behind them is Kiriha. Turns out it’s Mailbirdramon and Greymon in human form. Baronmon was the one to have done that for his group. Kiriha declares that he only came back to the human world to chase after Taiki.then declares it is a joke. He confirms he got a code crown that allowed him to come back to the human world and Greymon wanted to have a look. Kiriha does state he won’t give up trying to recruit Taiki. The group then decide they want to help Taiki.

Taiki is still following his past self and the Digimon at the end of last chapter is following him. As the Digimon attacks Taiki turns and dodges. The Digimon freaks and ends up having to ‘woof’ pretending to be a dummy of Taiki’s. They move to a building and the Digimon introduces himself as Spadamon. He tells him that during the Bagra Invasion he and his master were sent to the Human World and can’t get back. Spadamon tells him that in the human world it was only a few years ago. But in the Digital World it was likely a few hundred years and thus he saw the beginning of the war. Spadamon wants to take him to meet his master and they head off. Taiki explains to him how he got to the Digital World. But Spadamon has no idea what a Xros Loader is.

Akari explains to the others that Taiki is always caring for others while not caring for himself. He would always take on things and be so busy and sometimes doing dangerous things. Then when he started track, he became friends with Tatsuya and they would be rivals. Until he hurt heavy ligament muscle damage and will be able to walk, if he undergoes intensive rehab. But likely would not be able to take part in track meets and such again. From that day, Taiki focused on others rather than himself. Kiriha calls it stupid for giving up because of that and now understands why Taiki doesn’t like the things he does. But then decides to leave.

Akari speculates that Taiki envies Kiriha who continues his dream regardless of the consequences. Shoutmon states it shouldn’t be that way and chase after his own dreams. Dorulumon points out that it’s because Taiki is the way he is, that he’s helping Shoutmon. Shoutmon starts to run somewhere while Tatsuya states Taiki isn’t coming. Shoutmon stops Tatsuya from leaving and states that he will bring Taiki and begs the boy for Taiki to forgive him.

Spadamon takes Taiki to the base where Coronamon welcomes him back. He isn’t happy that Taiki is a human. But Spadamon ‘bigs up’ Taiki and that he came back from the Digital World. Coronamon realises that they could get back home. Taiki goes to meet the master: Ulforce V-Dramon a member of the Royal Knights! Taiki realises that Ulforce cannot see. It is explained that the curse from Tactimon’s katana stops them from recovering. Taiki realises he fought Tactimon. The Apocalyptic Battle had been predicted by ‘god’. The god that the Royal Knights served. He speaks of a Two Headed Red-Black dragon that would bring the destruction. So the Royals went searching. They thought it could be the Demon Lords but some were observed no move was made. That is when the invasion occurred from the Bagra Army. The great angel who was believed to be dead due to rebelling against God and got half of his body burned due to the Thunder of Judgement. His generals with him. Including the Demon Lord Lilithmon, the fickle Blastmon and the Demon Man who had not been known, Tactimon. They fought him and lost and that is when the Digital World started to break up. It was at that time he ended up in the human world. Ulforce tells him it’s only about 2 months left before the time of destructions that god had started and that the Bagra army must be stopped before then. Taiki then realises why he’s there two months early.

Outside Blastmon arrives in the human world. Right in front of Kiriha and his partners. Kiriha left half of his Digimon back in the Digital World. But feels like going on a little rampage as a distraction.
