Summary:
Two of Myotismon's henchmen, Gotsumon and Pumpkinmon are in the streets at night watching the humans. They don't want to work; they only want to have fun in the city. Matt and TK are on the subway going home, Matt to their dad and TK to their mom. Patamon and Tsunomon are talking about how they don't live together. Patamon thinks its nice the two brothers can be together. TK gets insulted and fights with Patamon who flies off the subway car when it stops. They get off the subway and try to follow after patamon but run into gotsumon and Pumpkinmon instead. Tsunomon digivolves to gabumon to fight with them but they back away, only wanting to have fun. They run away only to cause a teenage girl to chase after them. Once again they meet up with Gabumon and carrying him away with them. Once safe from the teenager they say that they are trying to make it to Hollywood and don't want to search for the eighth child. They mess with a traffic light and now find the police after them.

In a storefront window they try on clothes. The digidestined see Patamon fly by the window and abandon the two digimon. Myotismon appears before Gotsumon and Pumpkinmon. He is furious that they are having fun instead of chasing after Matt and TK. He orders them to steal their crests. Pumpkinmon and gotsumon surround the digidestined, just as they are going to take the tags they give up and say they were only playing. Myotismon appears again while the digidestined hide. He is mad at their failure and says he is going to banish them to his dungeon in the digital world.

Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon fight back but are destroyed by Myotismon's Grisly wing attack. Myotismon goes after the digidestined now. Gabumon digivolves to Garurumon and attacks Myotismon. Myotsimon is too strong. Matt is crying now over the destruction of the two friendly digimon, causing Weregarurumon to appear. In the park Patamon sees the fighting and flies to them. Weregarurumon is losing the fight causing TK to cry, making Patamon digivolve to Angemon. He and Weregarurumon team up against Myotismon. Myotismon is still too strong and uses his crimson lightning attack to dedigivolve the two. He leaves them to reminisce over the deaths of their friends.
