Kari was the 8th digidestined and Myotismon spent a lot of time trying to find her and her digimon to destroy them. Myotismon found out Gatomon was the 8th digimon and used her to find Kari but Kari gave herself up to save Matt and Sora from Phantomon. Myotismon was going to kill Kari and Gatomon when the others came and stopped him. He battled a bit then was about to destroy them again when Wizardmon saved them both. Gatomon then digivloved to Angewomon destroying Myotismon. Kari is the youngest of the digidestined and is a bit of a cry baby but she is wise beyond her years and is trusting a bit too trusting for her own good. When she left the digital world she gave her whistle to Gatomon as a token of friendship. In Episode 37 Wizardmons Gift Gatomon digivolves to Angewomon for the first time. We see her digivolve from Salamon once and that is in Episode 40 Enter the Dark Masters. We see Angewomon digivolve to Megain the Digimon the Movie.

Her last name, Yagami, means "Eight Gods" Although her first name is means "Light"
