Chapter 8: Partner and Digimon as One
Masuken, Ryuudamon and MameTyramon are out of the cave. Masuken is annoyed at Mame for the journey being so long. They have arrived at their place though Belt Valley. Mame tells them to go through Hyperlink Cave as this is the 2nd test. Masuken + Ryuudamon are then surrounded by quiet a few digimon including Triceramon, Monochromon, Growlmon, Tortomon (i do believe they are in their X forms). Masuken knows his time is short and produces an energy sphere allowing Ryuudamon to evolve to Hisharyuumon. A fight ensures and Maskuen asks Hisha to just subdue the digimon which he does (wanting to destroy them) however one digimon is still active (Skullbaluchimon) who eats his fellows however Masuken is not to be put off and has Hisha to attack. Skull is hurt and wants to eat a Tobucatmon. Masuken goes to save it but is captured my Skull who orders Hisha to destory his data orbs which going against Masuken's orders he does. He then convays a message to Masuken to shake his digivice which he does. Hisha uses his special attack and seems to defeat Skull before reverting to Ryuudamon. Skull however isn't defeated just purified so he blasts a bigger hole for the duo to get through the cave.
