Ballistamon has more role in the manga than the anime. He even got two additional Digixrosses. Ballistamon Mush Cottage and Ballistamon SR. Ballistamon arrives part way through Chapter 1 and is friends with Shoutmon. He helps to protect Taiki's friends.
