Chapter 12 - Saving a Friend
Masuken + Ouryuumon have come to help and they attack. MetalPhantomon is suprised at the power of Ouryuumon and a huge explosion occurs. Hikaru spots Kiyoshi inside of Death-X. Hikaru gets Grademon to give him a lift but MetalPhanto goes to stop him. Hikaru borrows Grademon's Sword while Grade stops MetalPhanto Hikaru hacks his way into Death-X, finds Kiyoshi (who is a girl) and cuts her free but Hikaru gets himself caught and impaled but Death-X's inner defences. Hikaru knows he could die but refuses to give in and produces a huge energy sphere which makes Grade's Sword grow and pierce Death-X's body apparently destroying him. Hikaru walks out carrying Kiyoshi in true 'hero' style but he now has stripes on his body and is laughing strangely. They still have MetalPhanto to defeat but as he then sees Death-X revives destorying MetalPhanto for his power. He traps Ouryuumon in his net taking the dude down. Hikaru is getting rather annoyed and Masuken says something about Hikaru's hand and a weird pattern of data shows on the floor underneath Hikaru making his energy sphere become bigger a lot bigger. Hikaru then says the reason for his stripes is cause Death-X released a virus in him hoping that it would kill him but it didn't Hikaru's bodycould break it down and make it into a new power which he then gives to Grademon causing him to evolve.
