Nene is different from her anime counterpart in several ways. She is more teasing, seems to not want Akari and the group to stay in the Digital World due to the harsh realites of it. She tells Taiki how to use the Code Crown to zone transfer and what will happen if all the Code Crowns are collected. It is revealed by Sparrowmon that in the manga Nene has a little sister (Kotone), who came to the Digital World with her. (Seems she doesn't have Yuu in this). She joined up with Dark Knightmon when her sister got sick as he is supposdly the only one who can heal her. She seems to know that there is a deeper plan of Dark Knightmon that involves three generals (Herself, Kotone and Taiki/Kiriha).
