Chapter 3 - Masuken's Trap
Death-X isn't dead as Masuken tells Hikaru. He says they should go to Metal Phantomon who can turn Death-X back to normal. Agumon shouts to Hikaru to not leave the body of Teru. He holds the boy and is told it's a trap. He notices that this Teru he's holding has both of his shoes on and that his feet don't stink as much so Hikaru grabs hold of Masuken who reveals it was a trap and that the dead Teru is an illusion and that with Hikaru's anguish he made Dorumon evolve to his Death form and Masuken knew Death-X would lose. He orders Gaioumon to kill Death-X. Hikaru gets really annoyed another field is created around Death-X Dorugremon who evolves to Death-X Dorugoramon. Masuken orders Gaioumon to attack before Death X can. The attack does jack to Death-X much to Masuken's amazement. Gaioumon's blade breaks. Death-X attacks Gaiou as Hikaru grabs Maskuen and orders him to tell him where Teru really is. As the place is crumbling around them Hikaru tells Agumon to get Masuken out who then reveals Teru is under a secret passage under a rock close to Hikaru. Dorumon is completely out of control until Omegamon arrives wanting to know who has broken the peace of the Digital World.
